Megan McPherson is a practicing artist and printmaker who works with paper investigating notions of identity and affect in space and place. How to measure and fix spaces, time and affects are primary concerns.
Her work is about measuring, gathering and mending; plants in my environment, collected fabric and material mending, and ideas of space combine to think about what affects how we live in the world. She has exhibited artwork nationally and internationally since 1989.
Megan is also an educator, researcher and writer and is currently completing her PhD. in the Faculty of Education, Monash University writing a thesis on the role of the crit in the art school.
