A custom workshop is your workshop to organise with the facilitator – you set the agenda.
During a custom workshop you will be able to set your own agenda and work 1:1 with Michelle, at your level and your pace.
Custom workshops are facilitated by artists (the majority exhibiting at QG&W) – many of them teachers, lecturers, technicians who are professionally established or working in the art education sector. They are brilliant at sharing their expertise as well as teaching various techniques or mediums, and/or guiding you with your work development.
Michelle, an experienced drawing tutor can facilitate a skill-based program exploring an extensive range of mediums and techniques.
Beginning with traditional and contemporary approaches to drawing with content ranging from structural investigation, anatomical study, spatial organisation/perspective and personal expression, Michelle will then move on to focusing on a medium and subject of your choice.
The emphasis will be on working directly from observation drawing. Choose from compositional arrangements (taxidermy animals, flowers, every day objects, collectables, etc.), setup inside QG&W’s mezzanine studio, landscape or request a model (additional cost).

- Bringing current work to develop or transform to another medium
