‘We feel it’s fair when visitors to the gallery ask, where did you come from?’.

Theo and  Soula are aiming to create an exceptional Australian gallery and workshop and so it makes alot of sense that their new community, gallery visitors, patrons, workshop participants, and new artists, ask this question.

Credibility comes with experience and education, and there’s no short cut to becoming credible – it’s hard work.

‘We used our design, event, marketing, customer service, and fine art experience to conceive QG&W. We also drew inspiration from special project spaces, galleries, small museums and places we visited during our travels to New York, Paris, Rome, Venice, Florence, and other various small towns in Tuscany. The most inspiration however, has come from our local favorite creative destinations (and friends), The Baldessin Press, Heide MOMA and The Convent Daylesford. Our love for hospitality seems inherited from Greece (Theo) and Cyprus (Soula). The community we carried with us to Queenscliff, was established during our 17 years in Collingwood.

This credibility post is timely, forming a great reflective process for us exactly one year since we moved to Queenscliff.

We thank everyone for making us feel so welcome and for loving our QG&W.
