Join us for an open weekend November 4th – 5th

Andrew Gunnell, Amanda Firenze and Joel Wolter will be showing their work and demonstrating their printmaking methods in both QG&W’s print and art workshop spaces. Andrew Gunnell will also talk to visitors about the work featured in the Litho, Mono & Unique State Prints exhibition.

Artists will be present between 1 – 5pm both days. This is a FREE event.

Andrew Gunnell

‘I’m an artist, lecturer and technician in the Print Imaging Practice studio at RMIT University. Whilst making prints in QG&W’s gallery area, I also look forward to demonstrating and discussing the various methods of printmaking involved in my current projects and the works that form part of QG&W’s unique state exhibition.’

Amanda Firenze

‘I use art to figure out my feelings and to connect with others. I combine lino-prints with words to help tell my story and to take me to places that I want to go.’

Joel Wolter

‘Working in QG&W’s print workshop, I look forward to chatting to visitors about my work, and demonstrating the techniques of etching and dry-point on copper, which I use in my arts practice.’
