AIM

General Drawing will enable participants to explore fundamental genres over two days.

The emphasis will be on working directly from observation drawing from compositional arrangements (taxidermy animals, flowers, every day objects, collectables, etc.), setup inside QG&W’s mezzanine studio.

Michelle, an experienced drawing tutor, facilitates a skill-based program exploring an extensive range of mediums and techniques. The course will cover traditional and contemporary approaches to drawing and the content will range from structural investigation, in-depth anatomical study, spatial organisation/perspective and personal expression.

Invoices provided upon arrival. Initial payments may be refunded if the class is cancelled or if you inform us of your inability to attend, at least three weeks prior to the course date.

SKILL LEVEL REQUIRED: All levels and experience
INCLUDED: Most materials. Glass of wine/cheese on completion and tea. Nespresso coffee (gold coin donation).
NOT INCLUDED: A3 Drawing journal (available from QG&W), take-home kits, accommodation and food. Plenty of food choice in Queenscliff.
