Meet Pedro Wonaeamirri and Timothy Cook

Join us, JACA coordinators Hannah Raisin, Will Heathcote, and artists Pauletta Kerinaua, Pedro Wonaeamirri and Timothy Cook in the official Tiwi Jilamara exhibition celebration on Sat Apr 27, 3pm.
Donations to the Tiwi artists’ GoFundMe campaign amounted to a total of $3,660. This enables Pauletta, Pedro and Timothy to visit the Tiwi Jilamara exhibition and to enjoy an official celebration in Queenscliff.
Pauletta, Pedro and Timothy will also visit the local Queenscliff Primary School to demonstrate traditional ochre painting and speak about Tiwi language with the students. There may also be a bit of traditional dance!
A separate, private gathering and demonstration with artists, patrons and donors is being held Apr 26 from 5pm – 7pm.
