Andrew Gunnell

Project Description

Andrew Gunnell was born in 1974 in Melbourne. He studied at the University of Ballarat 1993-95, and then at RMIT University. From 1997-2013 he was Master Printer at Chrysalis Gallery and Studio. From 2008 he has been Technician/Lecturer in the Printmaking studio at RMIT University and since 2011, Lecturer in Printmaking at Monash. He has been a committee member of the Print Council of Australia since 2005.

He has participated in over 50 group and solo exhibitions. His work is held in several public and private collections, including the National Gallery of Australia, the State Library of Victoria, the Australian Print Workshop and the University of Melbourne.

He currently lives and works in Melbourne where he also runs a private press known as The Weatherboard Press.
